Adjust The Virtual Memory In Windows Vista
When you work on your computer you sometimes receive the message "Your virtual memory is low"? When your computer does not have the required amount of RAM to run a program, Windows Vista makes use of virtual memory to enable it and run the program successfully. Windows Vista by default manages virtual memory automatically. Therefore the given steps will help you to resolve the problem of low virtual memory and also help you to optimize your system performance. Just follow these steps to adjust the virtual memory in Windows Vista.
1. Firstly click Start, open the Control Panel
2. Double click on the System applet to open "System Properties"
3. On your Left Hand Side under "Tasks", click Advanced System Settings
4. Click on the Advanced tab and then click Settings in 'Performance' section
5. Click Advanced tab
6. Just click Change under the Virtual Memory section. In here you can select any drive partition and you can set either 'Automatically manage paging file size for all drives'; 'Custom'; 'System Managed' or 'No page file'
7. Lastly, click on Set before going on to the next partition.
With these steps you will be able to adjust the virtual memory in Windows Vista and it will also optimize your PC health.
