Use Windows XP Startup Disk

Windows XP Setup Disk can be used to install or reinstall Windows XP, its components and an attempt to fix a corrupted Windows XP installation. These steps will help you:

• Firstly backup all your files and folders to an external drive or other media. Reinstalling Windows will involve your hard drive formatting which will erase all types of content.

• Setup your computer to boot from CD. Some systems are automatically configured to boot it from optical drive first, press F8 when you startup your boot options and select "boot from CD".

• Select "Repair Windows XP Installation" when you want to try to fix your corrupted system or you can select "Install Windows XP" and follow the instructions so that you can format the main hard disk partition.

• Now just continue with your windows XP installation procedure. This is done automatically and it will take 30 minutes to one hour.

• Reboot your computer after the installation and configure your system with your preferred network and software options.

• When you have established a Internet connection, make sure that you update Windows XP to the latest configuration.

With these steps you can install or reinstall your Windows XP very easily.
