AOL's Parental Controls will allow you to monitor your kid’s activity, set some limits for your children and also set the limit on your child’s communication with others on AOL and what are the sites that they have viewed. The controls can be adjusted by the account holder and can change the Parental Controls on AOL at anytime.

• Firstly logon to your AOL account. You must be the account holder to make changes in Parental Controls.
• Secondly go to the Screen Names section and click on the screen name for which you want to change the setting for.
• Next click on "Edit" to select the screen name. You will find a link to change the settings for each of the following areas: Chat, E-mails, instant messages and Web browsing. So click on each link that will open up a menu which will allow you to adjust the settings of each area. This will allow you to control the websites and content that your children views on AOL.
• The other areas will deal with your child's communication with others on AOL and will allow you to set limits, block the users and limit the communication within your AOL emails, chat rooms and instant messages.
• Lastly click on "Save" button, followed by "OK", to confirm and activate your changes.

You can repeat this whole process for any other screen names on your account which belong to your children. You can go in and change your Parental Control settings at any time.
