Bypass Your AOL Parental Controls

You set up Parental Controls to prevent your kids from accessing inappropriate content online. Parental Control is a very useful tool to protect your kids from online predators and adult content that could affect them negatively.

Parental Controls can block websites that are inappropriate for your child. There are few ways with which you can bypass AOL Parental Controls and gain access to some blocked sites.

• Firstly get the name and password of your friends who has an unblocked account. On the logon screen, just scroll down to where you should enter your screen name and then select guest instead. Just log on with your friend’s name and password.
• Secondly access a different web browser. If your AOL account allows you, then try to open Firefox or IE. Access the web through these browsers. Just make sure that you use AOL every once in a while so that your parents see an AOL activity report.
• Thirdly, Use a web proxy. They are websites that can allow you to view and/or access websites that from independent servers. Some proxies can only allow you to view a page; others will allow you to access pages with username or password accounts. Just keep in mind that it is very difficult to watch a video through any proxy servers.
• Fourthly, use a different computer, like the one at a library with Internet access, or at a cyber cafe.

With these steps you can bypass your AOL’s Parental Control Software easily.
