You Tube To Add Parental Control
Now it is time for YouTube to come under the spotlight of Parental Control. It is a good news for parents who think some of the content on this popular Web site is unsuitable for their kids.
This famous video site called YouTube is adding Parental Controls which will help the parents to block the kids from viewing certain videos. Many parents were worried about some of the You Tube’s contents that are not fit for kids.
Type in the word sex on YouTube, and you'll get millions of hits, Wallace points out, including countless provocative and violent videos. Therefore, parents now can block flagged videos as some are inappropriate for young teens.
You can use the new Safety Mode which is a new way of browsing that prevents children from viewing objectionable content. This safety mode can do things like limit the content on videos which has objectionable stuff, news events which contain graphic violence and also collapses all comments on videos automatically. You can use this Parental Control for all users, even if a user is logged out, so that your kids cannot turn off the Safety Mode if they try to.
This Safety Mode is browser and account-specific. All you have to do is just turn on your Safety Mode for all the accounts you want to filter. With this new Parental Control you can surely make some restrictions on your kid’s Internet use.
