Do you miss Wi-Fi while you are on a holiday to Miami? Well from now you will not miss it. As the vibrant city of Miami Beach has launched their free wireless Wi-Fi experiment. They have done it through a partnership with IBM.
Many wireless nodes were placed throughout the Beach to enable the city employees, residents and tourists to access the web for free of charge. You can test your Wi-Fi connection with these wireless nodes no matter where you are on the beach.
The wireless would work higher than the third floor in any building, so high-rise neighborhoods like Belle Isle will have more expectations with this connection. The city even has a helpful FAQ from where you can clear all your doubts about it. It will provide Wi-Fi for your iPhone and also give you a chance to use your laptop at poolside at various buildings or in Belle Isle Park.
You can use your iPhone, MacBook or your laptops anywhere around the Miami Beach and you will get a complete Wi-Fi connection. Therefore, just sit on the sea shore and start surfing.
