Change Parental Control In Internet Explorer

When your own computer is using an older operating system such as Windows XP, then it is unlikely that it is equipped with Parental Controls. You even apply website restrictions in the form of Parental Control by using Microsoft's web browser, Internet Explorer. By following these steps you can change those Parental Control set ups in internet explorer.
1. Firstly open your Internet Explorer or go to your Control Panel and select "Internet Options." But if you are opening the browser directly, go to "Tools," which is located at the top of the screen; select the "Internet Options" from the menu.
2. Just click your "Content" tab after the "Internet Options" window appears.
3. Click on your "Enable" button that is located near the top of the window under Content Advisor. After this a new window will appear. There you will see a list of categories such as language, sex and violence. In this list, it will vary depending on which version of Internet Explorer you are using.
4. Highlight the entire category to which you wish to apply restrictions by clicking on it for a single time. Just use the slider bar which is located below the categories to adjust the level of restriction. You can repeat the process for every category. When you are done, websites that contain the banned or restricted content will be blocked, then just click "OK" to save your changes.
5. Click on "Approved Websites" in order to apply web restrictions to specific sites.
6. Just enter the address of the site that you want to block or allow in the space provided, then click "Never" to block access or "Always" to grant access. you can even remove a website from the list later by simply going back and select the website, press "Remove."
7. Select "General" tab to set up a password.
8. Then just click "Create Password," located under "Supervisor Password."
9. Lastly just type your password into both the "Password" and "Confirm" boxes that appears.
10. Select a hint for your password, just in case you happen to forget the password and need help remembering it.

With these steps you can change the Parental Control application in your Internet explorer.
