After Chrysler and BMW, now its Cadillac offering Wireless Connectivity in-cars

It is stirring to find the option of Internet carving its way towards the outlets of a worldwide auto brand. Cadillac has enlisted its name with BMW and Chrysler for offering in-car wireless Internet connectivity.

From the month of April, 2009, Cadillac has made Wi-Fi option available in CTS sedan sports cars. By Autonet, this Wi-Fi option in-car has been named as ‘Cadillac Wi-Fi’ and the installation will be available from the dealer.

This device offered a price range of $499 where the service costs you a sum of $29 each month. The installation of Wi-Fi in the car has made Cadillac bag the crown as one of the first carmakers offering the Wi-Fi internet access. According to Autonet Mobile, this wireless Internet option will first attract the families.

This Autonet Device is not new for the wireless Internet users but the interesting part of Autonet Cadillac is that a carmaker of the top-tier is offering its imprimatur which is for a common motive which is in car Internet connectivity.

But in future the leading companies who are just in the up-and-coming in-car Internet space would readily require sketching more and more benefits rather than only giving Wi-Fi facilities and a few messaging option using 3G network. They are required to pack and optimize the services which will be specially for the in-car use.
