Ditch the Old Abode Flash Version

“Ditch Old Flash Version” is the buzz word that Microsoft is urging to all Windows XP users to upgrade away from Adobe Flash Player 6.0. It was originally bundled with the operating systems because of its multiple vulnerabilities.

Microsoft had it with older versions of Adobe Flash and it has issued Security Advisory to urge the Windows XP users to either uninstall the old versions, or to upgrade to the latest. Microsoft is asking the users to ditch Flash Player 6.0 as a multimedia player plugin which contains multiple bugs. Microsoft hardly issues security advisories on third-party products, but as this version of Flash originally came with Windows XP, Microsoft is warning its users.

The Adobe Flash Player 6 was provided with Windows XP and that contains multiple vulnerabilities which can allow remote code execution if you view a specially crafted Web page. Microsoft suggested that Windows XP users with Adobe Flash Player 6 can install updates to the most current version of Flash Player which is available from Adobe.

Microsoft has already released its security patches for all of its softwares. Just upgrade to the latest version and create your best designs.
