Enable Hibernation to your Windows Vista Operating system
Are you tired of switching on and off your PC every time you go out for a little stroll in the park? Your personal computer is a storehouse of your precious data that you would certainly like to protect from unauthorized usage. However, it is quite irksome to shut down your PC running on an advanced operating system like Windows Vista whenever you have to leave your workplace.
This can be quite frustrating as well as time consuming. The best solution to solve this nagging problem is to activate your Windows Vista coupled PC to “Hibernate mode”.
Hibernate mode is one of the most popularly used applications among Windows users worldwide. This unique feature is coupled with every windows package and just needs to be activated separately once you install it to your PC mainframe.
With the latest Windows Vista application suite, the process of switching over to Hibernation mode is nothing short of a child’s play. You can easily revamp your Windows Vista settings and make your Hibernation mode shortcut link appear in the Startup Menu by following a few simple steps.
At first, open Start Menu and type ‘Power Option’ in the search box provided. Click it to bring up the Windows Vista power options settings. Next click on “Change Plan Settings” and mark it as “active”. Go to the next window and click ‘Change Advanced Settings’.
This will bring up yet another Power Options window, with a list of additional settings. Finally click on the “plus” icon next to ‘Power Buttons and Lid’. It will show an additional set of four settings namely: Power button action, Lid close action, Sleep button action and Start Menu power button. Click on “Sleep button action” to activate Hibernate mode to your Windows Vista powered system.
Once the “ Hibernate mode” is activated in your Windows Vista operating system, you no longer need to reboot your PC every single time you venture out for a couple of hours for either business or pleasure.
