You often use your personal Printers attached to your computers. But printing without your computer is also making its mark in computer technology. There are two easy ways to print on many modern Printers without a computer; they are memory card reader slots, and PictBridge.
Printers vary from one another in different memory card readers but also in all ink jets. Printers have memory card slots to support easy photo printing. These slots are rare on black and white laser Printers. But when you will see some odd little slots on your Printer, you may discover that how easy it is to view, select, edit and print images without even touching your computer.
You just have to put your camera memory card in your memory card slot on your Printer, and your Printer will read all your images, then present them in some fashion on your LCD screen, and it will print them. Most Printers can even crop images even adjust colors with just a push of a button.
Some use extra memory cards in their Printers as storage locations. Plug in a card and make sure that you have a current Printer driver. All digital cameras have some type of USB connection that helps you to link to your computer and PictBridge adds those smart points to their Printers. Printing without computers is not only possible but it is fast and easy in the digital age.
